Becoming a Les Az Volunteer

A core part of our organisation during the summer is carried out by a team of people, all of whom give up some of their summer holidays to assist in running our events in the South of France. They include a number of people in their late teens or early 20's.

You will improve your organisation skills, develop your teamwork and customer skills. This has stood many of our volunteers in excellent stead when seeking their first jobs.

We only have a very limited number of places each year because most volunteers return the following year – as they have had so much fun!

To apply you must:

  • Be over 16
  • Have studied French at school
  • Be available for last two weeks in August
  •  Be outgoing
  • Have parental approval to do the job
  • Be willing to volunteer for two summers (everyone usually wants to and you will get much more out of it.)

Applying

If you are interested in participating in the Festival and you can meet the above criteria, we would very much like to hear from you. Please send us your CV.

Applications should be made by 1st January each year (for the following August), although late applications may be worth making as occasionally spaces for Festival Assistants become available as late as July. You will usually be required to attend an interview in London.

For those chosen, we will normally pay for travel to Nice and will provide accommodation / living expenses.
